Toots Hibbert, lead singer of the classic Reggae group Toots & the Maytals passed on September 11 from complications of Covid-19. His contribution to reggae music was enormous including the first single with the word "Reggae" in the title in 1969 and a ground-breaking tour with The Rolling Stones in the 70's that helped introduce Reggae to America to Grammy-winning releases and his latest album "Got To Be Tough" which came out just last week.
